There are 17 different career clusters listed in our unit. Why do you think it is important to have a diverse number of careers to choose from? How would it affect our global economy if there were only one or two career clusters?

It's important to have a diverse number of careers to choose from because it gives people options and they can use that diversity to find something that will either meet their needs or wants. If there were only two career clusters the economy would be lacking in multiple places. For example, if our career clusters were only manufacturing and human services then we wouldn't have anyone be able to teach us anything because there's no education and traing option for other people.
