the answer is 7/27 cause you find the total number of tiles and total number of black tile then put it in the ratio of :

total no of black tiles/ total tiles

For this you will be using What you want over the total of what you have. Sum all the things which gives you: 27 in total.

You want only the black ones, so add 3+4 and you get 7

What you want is the black (7) over the total amount you have (27)

so your answer is 7/27
