A jeweler had a fixed amount of gold to make bracelets and necklaces. The amount of

gold in each bracelet is 5 grams and the amount of gold in each necklace is 22 grams.
The jeweler made a total of 17 bracelets and necklaces using 238 grams of gold. Write
a system of equations that could be used to determine the number of bracelets made
and the number of necklaces made. Define the variables that you use to write the
system.

Answer:

He made 10 necklaces and 85 grams of gold for bracelet

Explanation:

Necklaces Term

If you look at how much gold it takes to make a necklace and the amount he made with gold, he has 238. If you divide 22 divided by 22 you get 10.8181818182.

So your answer is 10.

Bracelet Terms

If you see the amount of gold it takes 5 grams. Right? So if you see how many he made, you have to multiply 5 x 17 and you get the amount of 85 grams of gold used to make 17 bracelets!

Hope this helped!

P.S. Sorry It took so long.
