Andrew and Emily go shopping and they each have a coupon. Andrew buys an item at the regular price of $15, and uses a 10% off coupon. How much does he save by using the coupon?

It would save them $1.50

You would turn the percent into a decimal which would be 0.10 and then you 15 by that decimal and that’s how u get ur answer :) and I’d you’d like to find out how much the item costs after the discount you would subtract $1.50 from $15. I hope this helps!
