Answer: x >-3

Step-by-step explanation: 4x + 2 > 6x + 8

4x - 6x = -2x

6x - 6x = 0

-2x + 2 >8

8 -2 = 6

2-2 = 0

-2x > 6

-2x/-2x = 0

6/-2x = -3

therefore x >-3

Answer:

x < - 3

Explanation:

4x + 2 > 6x + 8

=> 4x - 6x > 8 - 2

=> -2x > 6

Divide by -2 (Since dividing by -ve, operator sign changes)

=> x < - 3
