Price of x shares = $3.75x

An investor has $800.

The price of x shares must be less than or equal to the amount he has. So,


3.75x\leq 800

Divide both sides by 3.75.


x\leq (800)/(3.75)


x\leq 213.33...

So, the maximum possible integer value of x is 213.

Therefore, the equation inequality is
3.75x\leq 800 and he can buy 213 shares.
