What are trees?

They are like small living planets as they offer food and shelter to many animals. Human beings obtain from them wood and fruits. They cushion the force of wind and rain while reducing air pollution, filtering it as it passes through their leaves and branches.

What are trees for?

Trees serve to produce oxygen, purify the air, form fertile soils, prevent erosion, keep rivers clean, capture water for aquifers, serve as refuges for fauna, reduce soil temperature, etc. That is why it is very important to have trees and plants.
