Explanation:

-> These are vertical angles, so we can set them equal to each other and solve.

[Given by vertial angles]

6x + 7 = 8x - 27

[Add 27 to both sides]

6x + 34 = 8x

[Subbtract 6x from both sides]

34 = 2x

[Divide both sides by 2]

x = 17

-> Now we will plug in our x value and solve for either of the angles as they are equivalent. I am going to solve for ABE since it does not have subtraction and I find it easier. xD This will still give us the measurement of angle DBC.

[Given]

6x + 7

[Plug-in 17]

6(17) + 7

[Multiply and then add]

102 + 7 = 109
