We can get the distance of that linear equation just to put the values of A, B, and C.

For the line 4x - 3y = 2,
A = 4
B = -3
C = 2

If we put these into that equation,
d = √(2/4)^2+(2/(-3))^2
= √(1/2)^2+(2/(-3))^2
= √1/4 + 4/9

To solve this, we have to make the denominators in the square root.

√1/4 + 4/9
= √9/36 + 16/36
= √25/36

And this is gonna be

√5^2 / 6^2

So the answer is

5/6
