Aluminium is far powerful and reactive than hydrogen so it will displace H_2 easily.

The reaction becomes

  • H_2SO_4+Al—»Al_2(SO_4)_3+H_2

Balanced reaction

  • 3H_2SO_4+2Al—»Al_2(SO_4)_3+3H_2
