Answer:

52 m

Explanation:

(a^2) + (b^2) = (c^2)

(39^2) + (b^2) = (65^2)

(39^2) + (b^2) = (65^2)

1521 + (b^2) = 4225

(b^2) = 2704

b = 52

Answer:

use Pythagoras theorem to solve this

C^(2)=
A^(2)+
B^(2)

C is always the hypotenuse of a triangle

Explanation:

65^(2) =
39^(2) +
B^(2)

my calculator tells me that..

4225 =1521 +
B^(2)

2704 =
B^(2)

√(2704) = B

52=B

nice .. it worked out to a nice whole number
