PLEASE HELP! QUESTION: The area of a room has a length which is 3 feet less than twice its width. Write a function that represents the rooms' area. What is the length for the room if its area is 350ft^2?

Answer:

2w^2-3w, and 25 feet

Explanation:

l=2w-3

w(2w-3)

2w^2-3w

2w^2-3w=350

2w^2-3w-350=0

The positive solution is 14 so that's the width. The length is 25 feet
