C - The slope is 1/2 and the y intercept is (0,-3)

Answer:

C or D, they look the same

Explanation:

1. The graph passes through (2, -4) and (6, 0). You can use the rise over run formula to find the slope, so if you were to use the line to draw a triangle it would go to the right 2 spaces and up 1. Therefore the slope is 1/2.

2. Then you just need to see where the line crosses the y-axis (the vertical line). You can see here that it crosses at (0, -3).

3. Writing it in slope-intercept form is y = mx + (or -) b. Soooooo it would be y = 1/2x -3.
