Answer: these are in "slope-intercept form" y = mx + b

m is the slope. b is the y-intercept

Start with the y- intercept, the "constant" on the right side of the equation. Plot a point there on the y-axis. Then use the slope to plot another point or two to find our where to draw the line. If there is no number for m, it is an implied 1. That means from your first point, go up 1 then 1 to the right to plot the next point

Explanation:

When the slope is a fraction, use the denominator to find out how far to go to the right.

If the slope is negative, move down first then to the right to plot the next point.
