Answer:

(-8,0) , (0,4) and our answer is D which is not given in the choices i even attached the graph so you can double check.

Explanation:

Arrange the equation into the standard form
y=mx+c

so,

3x-6y=-24\\3x+24=6y\\y=(3x+24)/(6) \\\\y=(3x)/(6) +(24)/(6) \\\\y=(x)/(2)+4

y=mx+c

if we compare we get c=4 where c is the y-intercept now for the x-intercept which means the coordinate should be (x,0) because x-intercept means the function cuts/intersects the x-axis at (x,0) so we put the coordinate and the value of m(slope) and c(y-intercept) in our equation.

y=(x)/(2)+4\\\\ put (x,0) in the function\\\\0=(x)/(2) +4\\(x)/(2)=-4 \\x=-8

so finally our x-intercept is (-8,0) and y-intercept is (0,4)

Determine the x and y intercepts for the following function 3x – 6y= –24 (-8,0), (0,4) c-example-1
