The three lizards in the photos above live thousands of miles away from each other. In fact, they are all from different continents! However, they all live in the same biome. In a short paragraph of at least three sentences, explain why this is the case.

Each of these lizards lives in a different ecosystem. Every ecosystem is unique; every ecosystem has its own special qualities that is local to its own area. However, ecosystems have big qualities that they share in common. In this case, each of these lizards is from a desert. They all live in areas that are dry and that do not receive much rainfall. They all have to deal with extreme climates and few sources of water. Even though they live in unique ecosystems that are thousands of miles away from each other, they all live in the same desert biome.

The lizards pictures above may live thousands of miles apart, but they are all a related species. Therefore, they will all require much of the same needs to sustain life. That is why they all live in the same biome.
