How would you plot (-9, 2)? Please include where you start and which direction do you move next and how much.

You would go on the x line and find where the negative numbers are first (since there is a NEGATIVE 9). The left side is the negative side. From there, you find number 9 (but don’t plot anything get, just remember where it is). Then you go up 2 (so find where the 2 is in y and go up that many). You don’t directly go over to the Y line.

You go left 9 and up 2. You then plot your point at that coordinate.
