As I is the centroid G is the midpoint of CE, so

2x + 5 = 5x - 4

5+4 = 5x - 2x

3x = 9

x = 3.

x + 5 = 2/3 * CH (Properties of the centroid of a triangle).

So as x = 3

2/3 CH = 3 + 5

CH = 8 * 3/2

CH = 12.
