They are stored in the cell in form of chromosomes which contains the DNA which are formed of the Nitrogen bases, phosphate group and sugars .

Nitrogen bases are Adenine , Cytosine , thymine , Guanine.

pair of three bases results in the formation of amino acids which join together to form proteins. Proteins in return act as a information carriers , which carry information to the cell to use the information stored in the DNA
