(JSYK: this is technically biology)

Anyways, a gymnosperm is a plant (usually a tree) that has unprotected seeds, this means it bears no fruits and can include (but are not limited to) connifers, cycads, and the ginko. Angiosperms produce flowers to help fertilization and have protected seeds. They are also likely to produce fruits or vegetables.
