Four brothers each bought two hot dogs and a bag of chips at the football concession stand. If the bag of chips was $1.25, and the total was $18.20, what was the price of one hot dog

SO, there are 8 hotdogs and 4 bags of chips, 4 times 1.25 is 5, and 18.20 minus 5 is 13.20, so the chips are out of the equation. Now all we must do is divide what's left (13.20) by 8:

13.20/8=1.65
