3x+5-4 and -(x+8)

Explanation:

When you combine your like terms and distribute your coefficients into a y=mx+b format your able to see if they cross paths.

They both lines have the same slop so if they have the same slope the will never cross bc they are paralle lines.

Same slope different y intercept= no solution

different slope= one solution

same everything= infinite solutions
