Brayden is making dumplings. If he uses 3 5

a cup of dough for each dumpling, how much dough does Brayden need to make 9 dumplings?

27/9 or 5 2/9

Explanation:

1. If one dumpling is worth 3/5 just multiply the 3 (numerator) by the amount of dumplings Brayden wants to make (9) so you would get the equation 3(9) and the answer is 27.

2. 27 is now the new numerator so put it over 5: 27/5. 27/5 is an improper fraction so the proper way of putting it would be 5&2/9.

3. Brayden needs 27/5 or 5&2/9 cups of dough to make 9 dumplings.

WELL, considering 3 5 is three fifths, then all you gotta do is multiply 3/5 by 9 to get your answer. Your answer, in decimals, is 5.4!
