Answer: Thus, gravity itself is not “an example of a scientific law”. It’s just a term. Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation gives us a mathematical description of gravity’s properties, and Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity gives us an explanation for why we perceive the force that Newton mathematically described.
