y+8=5(x+2)

Explanation:

Point slope form is y-y₁=m(x-x₁) where m is the slope. For the question the slope is 5 so you would substitute 5 for m.

So now you have the equation y-y₁=5(x-x₁), then all you have to do is substitute the points in. y₁= -8 and x₁=-2. If you substitute those points in, then you would get y-(-8)=m(x-(-8)) or y+8=5(x+2)
