Answer:

For your HW: Goals that take a long time to achieve are called long-term goals. Short-term goals are something you want to do in the near future. The near future can mean today, this week, this month, or even this year. A short-term goal is something you want to accomplish soon while a long-term goal is something you hope to accomplish down the line/farther in the future (could be a year, a decade, or something you just want to do overall in your life). Some examples could be for short-term that you want to get an A on a test/quiz that's coming up soon, and for long-term it could be that you want to graduate top of your class in high school (which is years away for you).

Just FYI- The SAT is a test you take your junior year of high school, it is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board. The purpose of the SAT is to measure a high school student's readiness for college, and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.
