Approximately 0.3.

Explanation:

I can only estimate the value of the function when x = 2. it looks like it's about 2.4.

Average rate of change = [(f4) - f(2)] / (4 - 2)

= (3 - 2.4) / 2

= 0.6/2

= 0.3.
