Answer: He should receive $8.15.

Explanation:

Cost per flat of petunias = $5.25

Cost for 2 flats of petunias = 2 ($5.25) = $ 10.50

Cost per flat of daisies = $7.65

Cost for 3 flat of daisies = 3 ($7.65) = $22.95

Cost per flat of begonias = $8.40

Now, Total bill = Cost for 2 flats of petunias + Cost for 3 flat of daisies + cost of 1 flat begonias

= $ (10.50+22.95+8.40)

= $ 41.85

If he pays $50, then change =$ 50 - Total bill

= $(50-41.85)

= $ 8.15

Hence, He should receive $8.15.
