The correct answer to this open question is the following.
No of course not we can do the above-mentioned things because, without rules and laws, this would be a mess. If everybody does what it wants, then, this life would be "the law of jungle." No regulations mean a society in debauchery.
What would you change?
Yes, there are many changes that would result in benefits for American society. Right now, a series of permanent problems are affecting the country and the political visions are dividing the citizens. So yes, there are things that I would like to change.
I want to make these changes because I see people confronting each other on a daily basis. There is too much violence in the streets. Racial issues are on the front pages of every newspaper and TV news system. Poverty in America is increasing. Health services do not provide to all Americans. Family is not the primary institution of society.
Of course, these changes would affect the lives of people living in the United States because everybody likes new things but nobody is willing to make changes. Indeed, people are afraid to change. They want better things but doing the same things. And that is impossible.
I think most people would like my changes but the problem is that they want "others" to start the changes. People love their comfort zones.
What might people who disagree with your ideas say about these changes?
They would say that it is better to live in the known, that to adventure into the unknown. But, as the famous quote says, "If you want to get new things in life, you have to do different things."
