as society changes, so do our beliefs.
Imagine being a women back in the day, unable to vote. Men could vote, men of color could vote, but not women. Was there outrage? No, it was acceptable. Fast forward to 1920 and the 19th amendment. Women not able to vote was now a tragedy! Women’s suffrage movement made noise and women were now able to vote.
Think about slavery, once acceptable but now seen as a tragedy later.
