Answer:

a. \: x = 11. \\ b. \: x = 72.

Explanation:

part \: a. \\ 3x - 2 = 2x + 9 \: (the \: sides \: of \: a \: square \: are \: equal) \\ 3x - 2x = 9 + 2 \\ x = 11 \\ \\ part \: b. \\ 103 + 51 + the \: unknown = 180 \: (sum \: of \: angles \: in \: a \: triangle) \\ the \: unknown = 180 - 103 + 51 = 26 \\ in \: the \: second \: traingle \\ the \: first \: unknown = the \: second \: unknown =\\ 26(alternate \:angles \:are \: equal) \\ 26 + 82 + x = 180(sum \: of \: angles \: in \: a \: triangle) \\ x = 180 - 26 + 82 = 72 \\ x = 72.

Sorry I only understood a and c. For a since all the sides are equal the sides equal each other and you solve for x. For c you use the Pythagorean theorem which is a^2 + b^2 = c^2. Hopes this helps!
