Can someone please tell me what kind of sentence this is,

“This is also a good example of Lady Montague’s instinct to think of her son Romeo’s safety first, for that reason, she could be described as motherly.”

it is a sentence that makes the reader understamd what kind of mom she is "motherly"is a word used to describe how much mom you are of you understand what I mean. it tells you that she really acts like a mom with that safety thing.
