Given:

The quotient of
(8)/(13) and 2 is subtracted from the product of
(7)/(4) and
(8)/(21).

To find:

The difference.

Solution:

The quotient of
(8)/(13) and 2 is subtracted from the product of
(7)/(4) and
(8)/(21).

(7)/(4)* (8)/(21)-((8)/(13))/(2)

=(1)/(1)* (2)/(3)-(8)/(13* 2)

=(2)/(3)-(4)/(13)

=(26-12)/(39)

=(14)/(39)

Therefore, the difference is
(14)/(39).
