5x+ 10y = t

- one nickel = 5 cents, and one dime = 10 cents

insert 30 nickels and 10 dimes

5(30) + 10(10) = t

150 + 100 = t

t = 250 cents

250 * 0.01 to change cents into dollars

250 * 0.01 = 2.50
