First you need to get 1 pound. 2 pounds is 3.76 divide it by 2 and get 1.88. Multiply it by so you can get 3 pounds: 1 x 3 = 3 pounds. 1.88 x 3 is 5.64. Now to get 4 pound you add 1.88 again to 3 pounds to add a pound and you get 7.52. Now add 1.88 to 4 one more time to get 5 pounds: 4 + 1 = 5 pounds. And 7.52 + 1.88 = 9.40. Now you checked the whole table and they are right so yes it is proportional to the weight of apples!
