x= -6/7 y= 214/7

Explanation:

First you have to single a value out so it would be y= or x=. The easiest would be the first equation and it would be y=28-3x.... Now that you have y, you can plug that into the second equation and get 24x+28-3x=10....this would equal -6/7 for x....make sure to simplify!! After that you can plug in x for the first equation and get y+ 3(-6/7)=28 and that would equal 214/7! All in all, x equals -6/7 and y equals 214/7
