Tiffany and Erin both need to sign up for a new cellphone service plan. They’ve researched a variety of different cellphone companies and have narrowed it down to two, AT&T and Verizon. AT&T charges a one-time registration fee of $15.00 plus a monthly fee of $35.00. Verizon, however, charges $25.00 per month plus a registration fee of $75.00.

Part A: Build a function using () for AT&T () for Verizon that will represent both service plans (3 pts).

· AT&T:

· Verizon:

· What does each variable represent in the context of this situation?
( This is a big question so if you help me honestly thank you so much!)

Answer

AT&T: X=3/7

Verizon: X=3

Explanation:

AT&T= F(x) = 15+35x

Substitute F(x) to 0

0 = 15+35x

-35x=15

Divide both side by 35

X= -3/7.

Verizon = g(x) 25x-75

0= 25x-75

-25x=-75

x=3
