We can use equation 1 as it is in terms of x and put it in equation 2 which means

-x+6x+6=1


5x=-5


x=-1

now we know the value of x and to find out the value of y we put the value of x in any equation either number 1 or 2

lets take equation 1


y=3(-1)+3


y=-3+3


y=0
