A person must score in the upper 2% of the population on an IQ test to qualify for membership in Mensa, the international high –IQ society. There are 110,000 Mensa members in 100 countries throughout the world. Answer:

Explanation:

Upper 2% means , the Z value must be .98

P ( X - k ) = .98

from the chart the value is found to be 2 .07 .

Hence

(X - 100) / 15 = 2.07

X - 100 = 31.05

X = 131.05

The person must score 131.05 in the IQ test .
