PLEASE HELP NEED ANSWER!!

In the story, they have gone without water for over 16 hours. Consider the references to the temperature of their environment. Create a hypothesis about whether or not you believe their experience is possible or not. Then, using credible sources, such as .gov or .edu, try to prove your hypothesis. Use at least two different sources and write a minimum of 2 paragraphs exploring what you found. Remember, it is okay to have your hypothesis be incorrect! It is more important that you discover the truth than prove yourself correct.

Answer:The medical term for not having enough water in your body to function correctly is dehydration. To stay healthy, your body requires a particular amount of water on a regular basis. This is due to the fact that water makes up 60% of your body weight. Water accounts for up to 75% of a child's body weight.

You can't go very long without water, but the actual period of time you can go without it varies. This is because a number of factors influence how much water your body uses, including:

•environmental circumstances

•age

•health

•weight

•level of activity

•consuming food

These elements influence how your body utilizes water. In a warmer area, for example, your body will sweat more, resulting in increased water intake. If you have a fever, are vomiting, or have diarrhea, your body will lose water more quickly. If you exercise, you'll also drink more water.

Furthermore, certain foods will contain more water than others. Other beverages, such as herbal tea and juice, are used alongside water. However, some beverages, such as those containing caffeine or alcohol, can cause dehydration.

In the Archiv Fur Kriminologie, one study was published. According to Trusted Source, you can't survive without food and water for more than 8 to 21 days. People on their deathbeds with low energy levels may only last a few days or weeks without food and water.

Water is far more important to your health than food. Hunger strikers who do not have access to food but do have access to water can live for several months or longer. According to one article in the British Medical JournalTrusted Source, persons on a hunger strike should consume 1.5 liters of water every day to keep their fluid levels in check. To substitute sodi, the article suggests adding a half teaspoon of salt to the water every day.

The human body can survive without water to 3-4 days, but that is just on observation, everyone’s body is different and reacts in different ways. “Humans need food and water to survive. At least 60% of the adult body is made of water. A human can go without food for about three weeks but would typically only last three to four days without water.” Also due to the state they are in doesn’t make it better either. The environment is just all land they won’t find water until miles. Every human body is different, but water and food is needed.

There bodies are giving out on them because they have had no water for several hours. “But about ten this upwardtendency became so evident, and therefore so fatiguing, that I was obliged to slacken my pace.” They need to start taking breaks to preserve the body so it gets enough energy to go on for this long Journey. And not having water makes worst, it can on be so long until their body gives out.
