Is it ok to use any shampoo and conditioner after getting balayage?

I have a balayage and after i got it i could wash my hair yet so wait for like two to four days since the color is still fresh. Then get a shampoo and conditioner that is for colored hair i got this purple container shampoo it was like 30 sum dollars. Don’t use any shampoo and conditioner because the color can start fading away like really fast.
