First, we should solve 10^-3 = 0.001 "for the ants" it is NOT negative now 0.001 times 3.12=0.00312 to find the total fly mass we should just multiply 0.048 times 3990000=191520 and for the ants 0.00312 times 47million=146640 so now the answer would be that the flies has a greater mass
