3x-2(x+3)=4x-7

Please help me solve this

Answer:

x = 1/3

Explanation:

First distribute the 2 to the (x + 3) and get 3x-2x-6 = 4x - 7.

Combine like terms and get x- 6 = 4x - 7.

Subtract x from either side and get -6 = 3x - 7

Now add 7 to both sides and get 3x = 1

Now divide 3 from both sides and get x = 1/3
