Explanation:

m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

= (7 - 6) / [(7 - (-6)]

= 1 / 13

Solve for b. Use (-6, 6)

y = mx + b

6 = 1/13 (-6) + b

6 = -6/13 + b

6 + 6/13 = b
