Kristen has been waiting all summer for her family's annual road trip. This year, they're headed to Yellowstone National Park. Kristen just saw a sign that said the park is 10 miles away, so the drive is almost over. If Kristen's father drives 50 miles per hour, how many more minutes will it take to reach the park?

Answer: It will take 12 minutes to the reach the park.

Explanation:

We know that,
\text{Speed }=\frac{\text{distance}}{\text{time}}

\Rightarrow\ \text{Time}=\frac{\text{Distance}}{ \text{Speed}}

Given: Speed = 50 miles per hour

Distance needs to travel = 10 miles

Now, Time required to reach the park =
(10)/(50)=(1)/(5)\text{ hour}

Since 1 hour = 60 minutes

So,
\frac15\text{ hour}=\frac15* 60=12\text{ minutes}

Hence, it will take 12 minutes to the reach the park.
