1) Billy bought 1 board game, 2 action figules and 1 toy car at the toy store. The board game cost $5.85, the action

figures cost $4.45 a piece and the toy car was $5.15. If he paid with a twenty dollar bill, how much change should she
get back?

Okay so first start by picking some variables.
Let’s say board game is represented by b, the action figures are represented by a, and the toy car is represented by c.

5.85b+4.15a+5.15c

Insert the amount of each

5.85(1)+4.15(2)+5.15(1)

Adding these together gives a total of $19.30.

To find what change he gets,
20-19.30= 0.70

$0.70 back.

Hope this helps!! :)
