Data procesing refers to the
transformation of raw data into meaningful
output
(primarily done by a computer).
It is the
conversion of human language
(text or sometimes speech)
into a machine-readable form- mainly to binary
form, with quantum computers being an exception.
It is very important because
machines and algorithms cannot understand
human language.
