1. 6 + 7x = 13
7x = 13 - 6
7x = 7
X = 1
2. y + (-16) = 30
y = 30 + 16
y = 46
3. -x/6 + 5 = 3
-x/6 = 3 - 5
-x/6 = -2
x = 2/6
x = 1/3
