First thing is you got to look at the equation (5.5x+11) and also the amount of books she is looking for the price of (8).

Now all you have to do is replace x with 8 in the equation so you will get 5.5(8)+11 which is equal to 5.5x8=44 and then all you have to do is add 11 which then gives you 55. I hoped this helped you out.
