Let "x" represent the actual length of the pool.

Thus,

1 inch : 3.4 ft = 4.6 inches : x ft


(1)/(3.4) = (4.6)/(x)

Cross multiply


(1)(x) = (4.6)(3.4)


x = 15.64

Actual length of the pool is 15.64 ft
